A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Funglow got lost in the woods and needs your help getting back home! Help her navigate obstacles in the forest to make it to her destination. Look for lanterns to guide the way.

This was my final project for my game development class. This game was built in Unity with free assets found here on itch.io. None of the artwork is my own. I have given credit to the artists down below.  Constructive feedback is definitely welcome! I look forward to improving my development skills with future games. Thanks for playing! :)

It is a really nice game for those who are starting a game developer career.

There are a couple of phases with variety between them, and the mechanic is easy to learn.

The next steps for improvement that I recommend are:

  • A way to make "clearer" the hitbox of the "enemies" that can hurt you. It is just a little bit hard because it is not really clear how close I can get to the objects.
  • I don't know if you are aware, but clicking to jump twice fast activates a double jump, but slower you jump lower.
  • When pressing to go in a direction, Funglow gets stuck to the object, even if it is a wall in mid-air, it doesn't fall.

You can see what I mean on the really quick live I did here: kitsurei_yune - Twitch. I just do it for fun, but I thought it would be interesting to show you the results of your game.

This is really great feedback! Thank you so much for playing the game.  I'll definitely be implementing these suggestions.
